THE BRISBANE LOVELOCKED WEDDING FAIR

Need some inspiration for a wedding? Are you bored of seeing all the same ideas at every wedding expo? Lovelocked is a fresh new bridal fair alternative. The whole day was orchestrated as if it was a real wedding. There was a ceremony, a reception and a vendor lounge. The fair is small and intimate, and it was a great way to source boutique suppliers that can cater to your specific needs.

Upon arrival, you were treated with a beautiful ceremony. There was a real bridal party with gorgeous ceremony styling ideas, flowers and a celebrant. Seeing everything put together as if it was actually your big day really gives you an idea of what works together. You can get inspiration from the colours, the fabrics and the decorations. This is the benefit you get from having all the vendors in one place; you can actually see everything come to life and you get the opportunity to talk one-on-one to each vendor and discuss your wedding needs.

What was next on the agenda? The reception of course, this was your chance to taste the amazing food and wine whilst having a look at florists, stationers and stylists. There were some truly beautiful reception tables decorated by only the best suppliers in Brisbane. Covered was one of the exhibitors and we showcased our beautiful range of wedding linen including table cloths, table runners, cushions and serviettes. Some of the tablecloths we had on display were our sequined range, our natural linens, lace and the ever popular pintuck fabric. We had the opportunity to meet a number of lovely brides to be and shared lots of great styling ideas.

The Fair also boasted a vendor lounge where you got to sit back, relax and enjoy the runway show which featured gowns from some of Australia’s leading designers.

With the spring wedding season just around the corner, this event was a great way to meet vendors, get inspiration and start planning for the busy months ahead.
